The scoop about the artist

The best place to start is at the beginning which for me was an invitation to a paint class. From there I slowly experimented with different paints and techniques. During that time I also started helping out at my sister's store doing odd jobs like sanding, staining and painting chainsaw carvings and wooden signs. The smell of the wood dust and the incredible process of bringing the natural beauty of a piece of wood to the surface had me running home to borrow my hubby's angle grinder to start my own creations. I realized that God had blessed me with a creative ability that I never knew I had. Since then I have branched out to tables, wind spinners, whirligigs, hand made jewelry, oil paintings and so much more. And who knows what next idea will spark in this crazy mind of mine. My Background

I've always considered myself far from being artistic, but thanks to two of my closest friends, I stumbled upon the realms of painting and woodworking, and boy, did I fall head over heels! It's funny how life throws unexpected passions our way. Their gentle nudges and patient guidance opened up a whole new world for me, one filled with colorful palettes and the scent of fresh wood shavings. Who would've thought that I'd find such joy and peace in creating something tangible with my own hands? It just goes to show that sometimes the best things in life happen when we least expect them.

My Medium

In my projects, I love to play around with different mediums that inspire me and spark my creativity. From the warm and earthy feel of wood to the vibrant pops of color from paint, I enjoy experimenting with resin to add depth and shine to my creations. Jewelry making is another favorite of mine, allowing me to craft intricate pieces that reflect my style and personality. Essentially, I am drawn to anything that strikes my fancy, embracing the freedom and relaxation that comes with exploring various mediums in my artistic endeavors.

My Inspiration

My inspiration for my creative projects stems from the sheer joy I find in working with my hands. The tactile experience of molding and shaping raw materials feels like pure magic to me. Furthermore, I am fueled by the excitement of chasing my ADHD hyperfixations, diving headfirst into a whirlwind of ideas and possibilities that light a fire within me. Above all, I feel truly blessed by God to have been bestowed with a creative spirit that propels me forward in my artistic endeavors. Each project, big or small, is a testament to my passion, dedication, and the divine spark that ignites my imagination.
